    Siemens

    Siemens Centre of Excellence in Automation, Robotics, & Mechatronics (ARM)

    The Siemens Centre of Excellence at BMU aims to enhance the technical skills and competencies of engineering graduates, ITI, diploma holders, and industry professionals, expanding their employment opportunities in modern industry. The Centre is equipped with advanced scientific instruments, comparable to those found in India's top technical institutions.

    Kuka

    Kuka Robotics Laboratory

    The Kuka Robotics Laboratory features state-of-the-art training cells with KUKA industrial robots and KRC-4 controllers. These facilities support operations such as arc welding, material handling, and spot welding, essential for industries like automotive, food and beverages, packaging, and manufacturing.

    Instrumentation

    Process Instrumentation Laboratory

    This lab is designed to enable maintenance personnel to carry out commissioning, calibration and maintenance of the typical devices used for measurements and control in industrial systems. These are equipped with 2 types of industrial Pressure sensor, 3 types of Level sensor, Temperature sensor, 3 types of flow sensor and control valves with smart positioner and PCS7.
    These are used to skill the trainees on how to program, calibrate and monitor the sensors using HART and Profibus modules. PCS-7 is used to instruct trainees on how to communicate and program the different industrial sensors and process control equipment and design the SCADA system to monitor and control the process.

    Energy Saving Laboratory

    The Kuka Robotics Laboratory features state-of-the-art training cells with KUKA industrial robots and KRC-4 controllers.     Mechatronics

    Mechatronics Laboratory

    The Mechatronics Laboratory integrates mechanical, electronics, and computer engineering principles to automate production processes. It includes two 5-station industrial prototypes, providing training in mechatronics concepts, programmable logic controllers, and drive systems.

    Pneumatics

    Pneumatics & Hydraulics Laboratory

    This lab offers advanced training in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, which are crucial for automation solutions across various industries. It includes sophisticated equipment for designing and simulating pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.

    CNC

    CNC Controller Laboratory

    The CNC Controller Laboratory provides training in machining, part programming, and production technology. It features real-time CNC controllers, CNC turning and milling kits, and SINUMERIC software for virtual training in CNC operations.

    Automation

    Automation Laboratory

    The Automation Laboratory demonstrates how PLCs communicate with machines through user-defined programs, using HMI and SCADA systems. Equipped with S7-1200 and S7-1500 PLCs, it trains students in PLC applications and programming, crucial for automating manufacturing processes.

    CAMD

    Centre for Advanced Materials & Devices (CAMD)

    The CAMD supports research in Materials Science and Engineering with advanced scientific instruments, comparable to those found in top Indian universities and IITs. This facility fosters cutting-edge research in materials and device engineering.

    Shell_Learning

    Shell Learning Center: Automotive & Tribology

    The aim of Automation course is to demonstrate how PLC controls communicate with the machines by user defined programs and monitor/control the whole process by means of HMI and SCADA. This lab is equipped with 6 S7-1200 PLCs and 1 S7-1500 PLC with KTP HMI-700 Basic and SCADA system and used to train the trainees about the different hardware arrangements of PLC, application of PLC, HMI and SCADA and the process to program a PLC using different programming languages. PLC has a wide variety of applications in manufacturing industry to automate the conventional arrangement in to automated systems it make ease for manufacturing industry.

    Product

    Product Life Cycle Management Laboratory

    This lab equips students with the skills to design and validate products using digital tools and curricula developed by SIEMENS PLM professionals. It enables students to conceptualize, design, and analyze new products from scratch.
