    • Dean’s Scholarships are granted for the full duration of the programme subject to meeting the following eligibility criteria.
      • A minimum CGPA of 8.5 every year. In the event that the student does not achieve the desired CGPA, the Dean’s Scholarship will stand revoked without the option for the Scholarship to be reinstated.
      • A student should have maintained a minimum of 80% attendance across all courses in each semester/module in the previous year(s).
      • There should not have been any disciplinary action against the student.
    • Programme Scholarships may be renewed annually from the second year, based on students meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for renewal and in accordance with the rank of students in the merit-list for the year. The minimum criteria to be eligible for the award of a scholarship in subsequent years are:
      • A student should have a minimum CGPA of 7.00 at the end of the previous academic year.
      • A student should have maintained a minimum of 80% attendance across all courses in each semester/module in the previous year(s).
      • There should not have been any disciplinary action against the student.
    • The renewal of a Merit based Programme Scholarship will be strictly based on the rank in the merit list in the Programme as finalized by the School.

    The provision for Haryana Domicile is as per the Haryana Private Universities Act. 25% of students who are admitted under Haryana Domicile Category are eligible for full or partial fee concession. Below are categories for fee concessions:

    • One-fifth of the twenty-five per cent shall be granted full fee concession
    • Two-fifth of the twenty-five per cent shall be granted fifty per cent fee concession.
    • The balance two-fifth of the twenty-five per cent shall be granted twenty-five per cent fee concession.

    For subsequent years, the Haryana Domicile Scholarship will be awarded to the meritorious students (as per merit list) based on their academic performance, attendance and family income. The % age of scholarship will be awarded based upon the merit list prepared at the start of next academic year.

    Students from families of defence personnel. ln an effort to honor our valiant armed forces, the children of serving/retired armed forces officers or personnel of other ranks, who are eligible for an offer will be extended a 10% Tuition Fee Waiver for the entire duration of the programme of study, subject to Terms & Conditions

    Students whose parents work with Hero Group companies – Hero MotoCorp, Hero Fincorp, Hero Future Energies, Munjal Showa Limited, Rockman Industries, Hero Cycle, Hero Enterprise, who are eligible for an offer will be extended a 10% Tuition Fee Waiver for the entire duration of the programme of study, Subject to Terms & Conditions.

    • Defence Ward fee scholarship / Hero Ward fee scholarship may be renewed annually from the second year, based on students meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for renewal and in accordance with the rank of students in the merit-list for the year. The minimum criteria to be eligible for the award of a scholarship in subsequent years are:
      • A student should have a minimum CGPA of 7.00 at the end of the previous academic year.
      • A student should have maintained a minimum of 80% attendance across all courses in each semester/module in the previous year(s).
      • There should not have been any disciplinary action against the student.

    Outstanding sports professionals who are eligible for an offer of admission may be extended a Tuition Fee Waiver for the entire duration of the programme of study from 25% to 100% on Tuition Fee depending upon State level, National level or International level participation.

    • Where the following definitions shall hold:
    • International level applies to competitions approved by Govt. of India/Indian Olympic Association/National Sports Federation.
    • National level applies to competitions approved by Govt. of India/Indian Olympic Association/ National Sports Federation.
    • State level applies to competitions approved by State Olympic Association/State Sports Association.

    • Candidate must pass physical fitness and sports proficiency test/s to the satisfaction of BMU Sports Office.
    • The student must represent BMU Team in the sport of specialisation during every year at the university as called upon.
    • Scholarships will be considered only for the sports offered at BML Munjal University i.e., Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Football, Kabaddi, Lawn Tennis, Pool, Table Tennis, Volleyball.

    Such grants are initially awarded for the first academic year at university and may be renewed annually, after a Personal Interview and subject to students meeting the eligibility criteria for renewal as appropriate. Such criteria may include CGPA at the end of the previous academic year and attendance norms across all courses in each semester/module in the previous year(s). The renewal of the Tuition Fee Waiver is subject to the fact that there should not have been any disciplinary action against the student.

    • For academically bright students from economically weaker sections of society, Financial Aid is provided in order that their university education is not held back due to a lack of financial resources.
    • Financial Aid grants shall be reviewed and finalized by the Admission & Scholarship Committee after a Personal Interview. In exceptional cases, the Committee may review the amount of scholarship and provide a grant for student housing.
    • Financial Aid is granted for the full duration of the programme, subject to meeting the following minimum criteria for the award of aid in subsequent years.
      • A student should have a minimum CGPA of 7.00 at the end of the previous academic year.
      • A student should have maintained a minimum of 80% attendance across all courses in each semester/module in the previous year(s).
      • There should not have been any disciplinary action against the student.

    • All kind of waivers/scholarships are applicable on tuition fees only, except, where, in cases of Financial Aid, a grant for student housing may be explicitly approved by the authorised Committee.
    • Financial grants are not applicable on the International Immersion Programme fee, an optional immersion module at a partner university.
    • Scholarships and financial aids are limited and based on both merit and a first-come, first-served basis. However, the allocation of scholarships will ultimately be at the sole discretion of the university.
    • At any point during an academic year, a student can avail of benefits from one financial grant only. In the case of a student who is eligible for more than one grant, the student will be considered for the grant offering the highest benefit.
    • These terms and conditions would apply for all financial grants.
    • BMU reserves the right to change the governing policy at its discretion.
