The BML Munjal University aims to be a leading university for the quality and impact of its teaching, research and linkages with major stakeholders. The university is in the process of establishing a viable research infrastructure; and building a community of researchers by partnering with well-known academic institutions, NGOs, corporate organizations, scientists and practising professionals. These resources would be used for the BTech, BBA, MBA and BCom (Hons) programmes.
An important step in this direction has been made by establishing the Institute of Inclusive Innovation (I3), in partnership with Imperial College London. Located on the BMU campus, I3 aspires to transform society by pursuing research-led, innovative and practical solutions for high impact inclusive growth and development at the grass roots level. Students and faculty will get an opportunity to work on live projects in the institute areas of focus such as health, energy, water, education, urban development and economic empowerment.
BMU is also establishing industry-promoted Centres of Excellence, which will strengthen the research infrastructure on the campus and, be the driving force for conducting joint research activities.
BMU - Imperial College Centre for Operational Excellence
The Centre shall carry out research and consultancy on the topic of Operational Excellence in service and manufacturing, as part of the co-operation between the Imperial College Business School and BMU.
We also aim to work actively with Indian industry to help them achieve operational excellence on par or exceeding world-leading organizations

- Bureaucracy and technology
- Healthcare operations and delivery
- Supply Chain Management, smart transportation and infrastructure
