B.A LL.B (Hons.) & BBA LL.B (Hons.) Admission Procedure
There are two methods of applying for admission to undergraduate programmes (B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) and BBA LL.B.(Hons)) offered by the School of Law at BML Munjal University (BMU) :
1) Write the BMU-SAT conducted by BMU
BMU-SAT is an aptitude test designed to gauge an applicant’s propensity to succeed in undergraduate courses offered at BMU. For the syllabus and instructions pertaining to the test.
OR
2) Submit your CLAT/LSAT scoresheets, if you have appeared for either of the exams. A merit list shall be generated on the basis of which students shall be offered admissions into the law programmes.
Admission decisions are taken by the BMU Admissions Committee. The Committee’s decision in this regard will be final and binding.
B.Tech. Admission Procedure
Mode (I) : Based on JEE Main score
- All applicants will have to submit the completed application form along with relevant enclosures including copies of certificates, JEE score card and the application fee.
- BMU will review all applications and JEE percentile-based merit will be prepared.
- Selection Committee evaluates the candidate application based on the JEE performance & academic credentials.
- Result will be declared.
Mode (II): (Based on 10+2 marks and BMU-SAT)
- All applicants will have to submit the completed application form along with relevant enclosures including copies of certificates and the application fee.
- BMU will review all applications and short-listed candidates will be required to take BMU-SAT.
- Selection Committee will evaluate the applications on the basis of the performance & academic credentials in Class XII and the BMU SAT exam.
- Result will be declared.
Admission decisions are taken by the BMU Admissions Committee. The Committee’s decision in this regard will be final and binding.
The result is declared for applicants only after he/she has taken the BMU-SAT successfully. Selected applicants will receive further communication from the admissions team to complete the admission process.

BBA/B.A (H) Eco/B.Com(H) Admission Procedure
- BML Munjal University uses a holistic approach to evaluate students for each of its undergraduate programmes.
- Applicants are required to undergo the following process:
- Applicants are to submit the completed application form along with relevant documents including copies of certificates and the application fee.
- Short-listed candidates will be invited for a Personal lnterview (Pl).
- Candidates will be evaluated on analytical skills, creativity, application-orientation and communication skills as per defined parameters.
*Note: For candidates with letter grades/CGPA, the equivalence to percentage of marks will be decided as per statutory/Board guidelines or BMU academic regulations, which at present are to multiply the CGPA by 10 to convert to percentage.
BBA-MBA Integrated Programme Admission Procedure
- All applicants will have to submit the completed application form along with relevant enclosures including copies of certificates and the application fee.
- Short-list candidates will have a Personal Interview.
- Selection Committee will evaluate the applicationson the basis of the performance & academic credentials in Class X, Class XII, the BMU SAT exam and the personal interview.
- Result will be declared.
Admission decisionsare taken by the BMU Admissions Committee. The Committee’s decision in this regard will be final and binding.
The resultis declared for applicants only after he/she has taken the BMU-SAT successfully. Selected applicants will receive further communication from the admissions team to complete the admission process.

What is BMU-SAT?
BMU-SAT is an aptitude test aimed to determine an applicant’s propensity to succeed in various undergraduate programmes at BML Munjal University. The test is designed in alignment with our practise of application-based learning. An applicant’s performance in BMU-SAT helps the admissions committee make accurate selection decisions.
An applicant can apply to all schools in the University through BMU-SAT and could decide to:
- Take the BMU-SAT along with other national level tests, such as JEE, CLAT&others
- Take only the BMU-SAT to apply at BMU
What is BMU-SAT’s purpose?
- The purpose of BMU-SAT is to measure school students’ readiness for university education to anundergraduate programme of preference at BML Munjal University
- BMU-SAT qualifies as an evaluation criterion for admissions to any school of preference at BMU – School of Engineering and Technology [B.Tech], School of Management [BBA], School of Commerce & Economics [B.Com (H) and B.A. (H) Economics] & School of Law [B.A. LL.B (H) & BBA LL.B (H)]
- The Admissions team and evaluators at BMU will review the BMU-SAT performance alongside the class XII exam results, if applicable
Why take the BMU-SAT Test?
- BMU-SAT score will give an applicant an edge over others in terms of saving time. One can start applying before or along with the national-level entrance exams
- BMU-SAT provides another opportunity for students for admissions to undergraduate programmes at BMU in addition to entrance tests, such as JEE, CLAT & others
- BMU-SAT is an online test that can be attempted from the applicant’s location
How to appear for the BMU SAT Test?
- Apply for any undergraduate programme of your choice – B.Tech, BBA, B.Com (H), B.A. (H) Economics, BBA LL.B (H) & B.A. LL.B (H)
- During your entrance exam score submission, select BMU-SAT
- Upon submission, you will receive your BMU-SAT date and time along with relevant instructions to attempt the online test successfully

Apply with SAT | College Board
BML MUNJAL University accepts SAT scores for its Undergraduate programmes.
Students can choose to apply through SAT scores. The SAT score will be accepted for both the Early and Regular Admissions window. The cut-off score for SAT will be in line with our shortlisting criteria for Undergraduate admissions.
The Designated Institution (DI) code is 7534. All applicants applying with SAT score need to send us their official transcripts using this code. Indian students can send their SAT scores through their official College Board account to BML MUNJAL University for free.
Currently, the SAT is conducted 5 times in a year (May, August, October, December and March) in over 57 cities and 85 test centers across the country. Students can take the SAT multiple times. DISCOUNT ON SAT TEST FEE FOR INDIAN RESIDENTS
For the 2020 testing year, students from income groups <8,00,000 per annum and 8,00,000 – 15,00,000 per annum are eligible to receive SAT fee reduction vouchers and get a fee reduction of 90% and 50% respectively on the SAT fee, which means students can take the SAT at approximately Rs. 700 & approximately Rs. 3400 respectively. Students will have to apply at Buddy4Study for the fee reduction vouchers.

COLLEGE BOARD INDIA SCHOLARS PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BML MUNJAL UNIVERSITY
Students in India who score 1300 or above on the SAT® will be recognized as Top Performers by the College Board at the end of April on an annual basis. Top Performers who demonstrate significant financial need, defined as family income less than INR 8,00,000 per annum, are eligible to receive a full-tuition scholarship for the entire duration of their programme of study. The family income will be verified by scholarship administration partner.

What is the structure of SAT Test?
The SAT is a test on a scale of 1600 points and is composed of 2 main sections — Math, Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, each carrying 800 points. The total testing time is 3 hours however there is an optional 50-minute essay, and total testing time with the essay is 3 hours and 50 minutes.
