    BCom (Hons) Curriculum

    BCom (Hons) Syllabus and Subjects

The course structure for BCom (Hons) is carefully planned to ensure that a wide range of qualities is passed onto students. The BCom (Hons) syllabus is updated in tandem with the issuance of a new set of Accounting and Reporting Standards set out by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

With changing times, BMU believes in providing all the skills necessary to survive in a technologically advanced environment.

1st year BCom. subjects include business law, economics, and accounting to provide a stronghold over a student’s fundamental concepts. The third and fourth semesters require students to take up electives as a part of the b.com Hons syllabus. The electives constitute the tally of wide-ranging BCom. subjects, including psychology, sociology, political science, environmental science, etc.

Owing to the hands-on approach BMU is known for, the fifth semester in the BCom (Hons) syllabus requires students to undergo an article/ internship along with a project.
