This inaugural SoLS Conversation celebrates the richness and complexity of Hindi as a language that embodies dialogue, debate, and discourse. The eminent panel explores Hindi’s evolution, its multiplicity, and the contestations surrounding it in the modern context. Through insights from literature, journalism, history, and cultural studies, the conversation highlights the dynamic role of Hindi in shaping identity and fostering pluralistic dialogue. The session emphasizes the continued relevance of Hindi as a language of inclusivity and cultural expression in a diverse society.
