    Meet the Professor

    Kiran Khatter

    Professor,

    Dr. Kiran Khatter has over 15 years of experience spanning academia and industry. She holds a Ph.D. from Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, Shimla; an M.Tech. from Punjabi University, Patiala. Her doctoral research focused on identifying and quantifying non-functional requirements.
    Her research interests include Fuzzy Theory, Neutrosophic Sets, Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM), Soft Computing, Image Processing, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. She is a technology enthusiast and passionate about programming. That led her to become a corporate trainer for Java-enabled technologies, Web Services, and web scripting languages.
    Additionally, she is trained in SAP ABAP programming and has managed SAP ABAP projects. She had been the trainer for Android Mobile App Development as well. She also conducts placement technical training sessions with the focus of developing problem-solving skills and abilities that support professional studies and prepare the students for their professional journey. She has received funding for research projects, including “Assessment of Smart Manufacturing Readiness of Auto Sector SMEs in India” and “Urban Sensing for Environment Upgradation,” supported by ICSSR and Hero Moto Corp. Ltd., respectively.
