Dr. K. Sharma’s interdisciplinary research spans data science, scientometrics, bibliometrics, machine learning, blockchain, and network science, with significant contributions to retraction dynamics, collaboration networks, and the evolution of emerging fields such as blockchain and econophysics. Her work integrates advanced methods like bibliometric analysis, deep learning models, and network modeling to uncover patterns in large-scale data. Leveraging advanced network analysis, she has uncovered patterns in research misconduct, interdisciplinary collaboration, and author impact, with practical implications for research integrity and policy-making. Recent projects include applications of deep learning for medical imaging, such as automated detection of kidney stones and tumors, analysis of retracted and non-retracted collaboration networks, and the development of innovative datasets for language-specific deepfake detection. Other contributions include studies on blockchain-based systems for secure file sharing and bibliometric evaluations, as well as investigations into financial networks, global conflicts, and SDG contribution. Her research, published in reputed journals, bridges multiple domains, contributing to advancements in knowledge, policy development, and technological innovation.
