Dr. Yogesh Gupta has more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. Before joining BMU, he has given his services to many institutes like Manipal University Jaipur, GLA University Mathura etc. He did his doctorate (Ph.D.) from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra (Deemed University) in 2017. His doctoral research was focused on enhancing information retrieval systems using soft computing techniques. He has also worked on a project at Institute for Systems Studies & Analyses department, DRDO, Delhi. He is an active researcher, guiding research, publishing papers in journals of national and international repute, and is also involved in R&D projects.
He teaches Information Retrieval System, Big Data Analytics etc. His research interests include Intelligent Information Processing, Evolutionary Algorithms, Information Retrieval, Data Analytics etc. He has guided two M. Tech. Dissertations and several UG projects. He is also supervising two PhD students. Candidates. He has published various research papers in International reputed Journals and Conferences. He has completed one R&D project funded by UP-Council of Science and Technology as CO-PI. He has chaired many sessions in various international conferences. He was invited to deliver his expert talk at ISCON-2019. He is a lifetime member of the Computer Society of India.
