    Dr. Ziya Uddin is a Professor at the School of Engineering & Technology and the Dean of Student Welfare at BML Munjal University. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics (major) and Computer Science (minor) from G.B. Pant University of Engineering & Technology. With over 15 years of experience in academia and research, Ziya is deeply passionate about fostering high-quality teaching, promoting student well-being, and shaping a supportive environment for students to thrive both academically and personally.

    Dr. Ziya’s research expertise covers a broad spectrum, including Applied Mathematics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Soft Computing, Data Science, AI/Machine Learning, and the Science of Science. His interdisciplinary approach has led to valuable contributions to the understanding of complex mathematical models and their applications in engineering and technology. Ziya worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, further enhancing his research profile.

    Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Ziya has held a variety of roles in both research and administration, allowing him to bring a comprehensive perspective to his teaching and leadership as Dean of Student Welfare. His contributions to the field are reflected in his extensive publication record in leading peer-reviewed journals. He has also presented his work at numerous prestigious national and international conferences. Dr. Ziya’s experience and work not only advances the field of research but also ensures that student well-being and holistic development remain a central focus of his academic and leadership roles.
