Doctoral Research
12E has the vision to conduct interdisciplinary doctoral research with the
following objectives
- To groom potential scholars and practitioners and make them competent and
innovative researchers and educators in various facets of entrepreneurship
& innovation, encouraging translational research - To encourage inter-disciplinary high-calibre research studies in
entrepreneurship and innovation with policy implications; - To investigate the synergy between the theory and practice of
entrepreneurship and Start-Ups as relevant to the Indian context and
strengthen the country’s entrepreneurship education and research ecosystem. - To fill the gaps in the availability of indigenously trained educators,
researchers, and resource persons in entrepreneurship at higher learning
institutions in India - To motivate scholars to take up theoretical and empirical research work,
leading to policy papers and publications in journals of repute.
Currently, I2E carries out doctoral research through the School of Management and has three doctoral candidates.
