Dr. Pawan Kant Munjal
Chairman & CEO, Hero MotoCorp LimitedMr. Pawan Kant Munjal is the managing director and CEO of Hero MotoCorp (formerly Hero Honda). He is responsible for the growth and strategic planning for the Hero Group. A graduate in mechanical engineering, he has been instrumental in bringing about technological and managerial excellence in the company’s operations. He has been the chairman of several CII committees.
He is also on the board of highly reputed Indian management institutes, such as Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Under his guidance, Hero MotoCorp launched the Hero Indian Sports Academy (HISA) in collaboration with the Laureus Foundation to provide equal opportunities in sports to various communities and to reward talented sportspersons in the country.
A keen golfer,Mr. Pawan Kant Munjal is the former chairman of the Asian PGA Tour and the past president of The Professional Golfers Association of India (PGAI).
Mr. Pawan Kant Munjal is one of the founding members of BMU.
