As part of the 73rd year of Independence Day Celebrations, we have collaborated with the Partition Museum to organize a pop-up exhibition on the Partition of 1947 here on campus.
The Partition Museum is the world’s first museum dedicated to the Partition of 1947. It is a People’s Museum that aims to tell the stories of the millions impacted through oral histories, refugee artifacts, archival photographs, original documents, and artworks. Through this pop-up exhibition, the Museum aims to create a dialogue around the Partition and involve the younger generation in understanding a historical event through the experiences of individuals who witnessed it.
The details of the exhibition are as follows:
Day/Date: Wednesday, 14th August – Thursday, 15th August
Venue: MPH
Time: The exhibition would start by post-lunch on Wednesday and would carry on till noon on Thursday.
Let us rejoice in this beautiful occasion by coming together and creating a sense of nationalism and show gratitude to the ones that have given us this freedom.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
